Château Lafite Rothschild
What's the story? Well Adele's grandfather purchased this excellent wine many long years ago. He waited and waited (and waited) for the right occasion to open it - and then woosh (yes, woosh), Adele was born!
To celebrate the glorious event, he opened a bottle of Château Lafite Rothschild 1964. Thankfully it had survived the long, long wait and a lovely drink was shared by all in the delivery room.
The transitory pleasure of the wine has been immortalized in this dazzling T-shirt which is available for purchase on zazzle.com (along with Grandpa's odes to Maria Rasputin and Thelonius "the lonliest" Monk). Credit Cards Accepted. Baby not included. ;-)
